Webinars – Something New for Brad and Bill

Everything we’ve done over the past eighteen years in person-to-person seminars can be found in our Webinar sessions.

For years Brad and Bill have wanted to make their seminars available to more teachers, students, and math enthusiasts. The answer is found in webinars – the online version of the traditional seminars.

School districts across the country now have the ability to not only schedule inservices for their staffs more easily, they can now do it at a lower cost than before.

As the photo shows, participants gather in a room with teleconferencing capability in a formal or informal manner. Most participants bring their laptops for ease of taking notes and downloading webinar materials. There is a similar presentation structure that occurs in a face-to-face meeting, including questions and answers.

Registration is normally handled by the district hosting the webinar. An added benefit of this type of instruction is that local attendees have an archive copy of the presentation for further review and discussion. Absent teachers can also view the presentation, and some of the presentation is appropriate for classroom instruction, which allows teachers to use the materials easily back in their classrooms!
