Use this creative practice to foster skills with whole numbers, decimals, and integers and to develop rich number sense. Students will find countless patterns in this activity.  This will help them to master and solve the puzzles even if they don’t go so far as to use the proportional reasoning or to discover the formula.  However, it is also easy to help students discover the formulas that will allow them to solve even the most difficult of these problems.
Happy teaching,
